Fallout 4: Geoff Keighley Explains Bethesdas Absence At The Game Awards
Added: 15.12.2014 8:11 | 3 views | 0 comments
For the sake of transparency, as someone that has worked in many facets of media, I do quite like Geoff Keighley and his efforts in popularizing gaming and making it bigger than it already is. But with that being said, I did not enjoy The Game Awards 2014. It was better than the 2013 VGX show, dont get me wrong. But being better than, doesnt inherently make it good. That Zelda reveal was decent though. And it did pull in 1.93 million viewers.

Kevin from Denkiphile: "So The Game Awards kind of came out of left field for a lot of people (me especially), but hey, awards are awards, and I personally love to see my own opinions on games validated by panels of esteemed judges. What The Game Awards also provided was a platform for companies to announce stuff on their newest and upcoming titles. Heres a selection of some of my favorite ones."

"The past week has seen many big events and announcements happen back to back in the gaming industry. The Game Awards and PlayStation Experience featured many big reveals which, quite frankly, set many gamers to go completely insane. Just a perusal of the comments section of any of our big stories this week is evidence enough that gamers were ready to battle. But why? From reveals, exclusivity deals, and the ages long console war, we break down all of the things that caused gamers to lose their minds just before years end."

Tin Salamunic: The Crew is the spiritual successor to Test Drive Unlimited 2, one of the most underrated racing games of the last generation. Its a gargantuan open world playground, jampacked with more events and activities than any racer to date. Ubisoft promises a new social landscape that seamlessly connects racers across the globe. Racing MMOs arent a particularly new concept, but The Crews vast American landscape combined with solo, cooperative and pvp races is a big step above the likes of Need for Speed: World or Motor City Online.
